Getting Ready....

Wow, suddenly seems like there are a lot of things to prepare for the arrival of the little one. Name, baby essentials, nursery room, diapers... etc.... Have not really been planning and preparing for his arrival as still busy with work - am thinking that i would have time (hopefully) to get everything prepared during my leave in Sep.

Getting heavier and feeling more clumsy... haha! guess its all part and parcel of the process. Just looking forward to the completion of one event coming Friday and then i can finally settle and focus on clearing my work and handing over to the new person come Aug.

Meanwhile, just enjoying the current status! It feels good to have people fuss ard u sometimes.. haha!

Babymoon

Just came back from our first babymoon in Phuket Indigo Pearl. We have been to this resort in 2008 during our honeymoon and the experience was great so decided to go back again. The resort is just 5min away from Phuket international airport but pretty far from Phuket town - cost us S$80 return to take a trip to Phuket town. Well, only spent a day at Jungcelon shopping centre.... bought a few things - still preferred to nua in the resort.

We also met Phil, host of Amazing race on our 2nd day. We walked past this guy who just came back from the gym. This guy was friendly, said Hi to us as he walked past us. I was thinking to myself, wow, he looked so much like Phil. and then Dar said Good morning Phil! I was like OMG!

Then as we were having our breakfast, Phil came after his shower and sat with his friends/crew. He is friendly, there was this group of ladies who asked to take a photograph with him and he obliged!

Overall, it was a relaxing trip, not long enough though although it was already 4D3N! Haha! Spent a day , oh well, half a day at the pool then went for spa. well, as u know, the day of arrival and departure, basically are wasted, can't do much....and we ate in our room (room service or da pao from town) for 3 whole evenings! Super nua!

This week, I am on leave from Mon- Thur. Wanting to do up our Italy photo, haha, time seems to past so fast when u are doing things u like.. sigh.. now is 3pm already! gee!

This is life!

Long awaited Wild Honey

Last Sunday, my girlfriends decided to try Wild Honey for brunch. So we went there happily at 11am and guess what? the wait for at least an hour! Gosh! Okay, nvm, we just walked around and sat around to chit-chat.... finally our turn!

As I can't eat non-fully cooked eggs, I can only try the English Breakfast which was so-so. But xiu's egg benedict was good she said.

Being pregnant...

The last time I took the train, no one gave up seats for me... Oh well... But today went for yoga followed by facial then I went to my favourite tcc at raffles exchange... Wow! The moment I stepped into tcc, I was welcomed. The waitress pulled out the heavy couch seat for me and returned with a big cushion pillow!! Impressed!

Going to be a lazy day before I do work... Yes again... What's new? Every weekend will end up clearing work that I can't finish during workdays because weekdays are just so packed with meetings, interviews and more meetings...will it ever end? Yes it will. I have already my leave plans in place!!! Felt so happy once I have fixed my dates to go Phuket! Going home to book later! My sis and mum going HK in the week of jul that I wanted to take leave so I think I will join them for 2 nights!! Looking fwd to that! Thereafter, I should look forward to handing over dunno to who and start to enjoy my pregnancy! Although it's prob a bit late to start enjoying!!!

Still hectic... Work doesn't seem to stop. Just made me even look fwd to my upcoming break.

Took leave to do regular check up on 14th. Had this rare chance to have macD Bf with Dar... Really sit down and eat... Yummy!!



Dar bought this voucher for icing room to decorate a cake for $9.90. And we decided to use it today since it is going to expire soon- thought it was really sweet of him to do that for me.... He knows I'll like it. Haha! Although I must say this sort of thing is not really his cup of tea.

We had fun... Decorating the cake... Not sure how nice the cake will taste though.. We shall see!












Cake ended up a bit messy cos we were trying to use up the free stuff! Haha!

Also had a great time catching up with hs on Thursday... She was so cute... Bought something for bb already! Really sweet of her...



Dar and I love our friend's son- J. He is so cute and always smiley!

It's been a while since I don't have to work on both days of the weekend... Went to a nice lunch at jade yesterday with a good friend. Food was nice and it was great to catch up! Our set lunch

Went to walk ard and bought some essentials. Met Dar for dinner and we tried this cafe hacienda where we had white card discount! Not bad! Fries with truffle mayo
