Dinner at the Airport

It has been a long time since Dar and I went to the airport to eat. It used to be the place to hangout when we were getting to know each other. We will spend our evenings at the coffee club (in T2) and just chit chat. The coffee club now is replaced by Swensens and the airport has became more crowded than usual.

After we got married, we still frequent the airport, mostly for fish n co that has our favourite seafood platter for 2! and of course our favourite hot fudge cake with ice cream. But it has been a while since we
've been there. So it was a pleasant surprise when Dar suddenly called on Sat afternoon and suggested we go there for dinner since he needs to pass something to a business associate. We arrived at fish n co at 7pm. Luckily there wasn't a queue yet and we managed to get a seat and our food pretty fast. But kind of disappointing was that the portion of the seafood platter for 2 has shrunk and the fries were cold. But we were determined not to let this spoil our meal. Of course, the meal ended off with our favourite hot fudge cake! Walked around the airport and fulfilled my 20 min of walk per day.. ... haha! walking in the airport is nice, air-con and not so crowded!

Sunday - Was happy Dar decided to skip his weekly soccer to accompany me for a morning walk. We walked to the Bedok McDonalds for breakfast. It was cooling at first but just when we bought all our things and wanted to walk back, the sun came out mighty strong and we decided to take a bus back. As I do not have my EZ link card with me, i paid with cash and hehe... i am intrigued by the bus ticket! haha! Been a long long time since I last seen one. Still remembered, I used to collect bus tickets! and my friends and I love to fold the tickets into small little heart shapes!

Monday - Am determined to finish up the Italy photos and do some washing of baby bottles. Had a late breakfast and just cooked some simple lunch to eat at 3pm. :) Dr Heng said last Thursday that Bb may come out this week, depends. Will have to monitor then. After the washing, I should be more or less done and it will just be a waiting game!

Gareth! We look forward to welcoming you into this little world of ours!
