Happy 2010!

Time flies! Fell sick after the trip and have to be on medical leave on the last 2 working days of 2009. Couldn't even pass the gifts to my colleagues in time.... But alas! this flu bug is a strong one and i am still suffering under it.... and now it has evolved into a horrible cough bug!

The trip was great! Yeah, i mean, considering the nasty experience i had with the agency prior to the trip - am just glad that the trip itself turned out okay. The tour manager was good, at least can sense that he cares for us. The tour mates were great! Young people like us and even the "auntie" in the group was fun-loving! Of course, the 3-yr old Isabelle makes the travelling together so much more fun!

The Swiss scenery is definitely worth a mention! The white mountains with the blue skies, wow! breathtaking! We travelled from the cold, snowy land of the swiss alps to the hot desert safari of Dubai in 2 weeks! What an experience....haha.

The long weekend was spent recuperating at home and of course! managed to meet up with a few friends who didn't mind me being sick. Had this wonderful breakfast with pk and hubby at Prive Bakery on 2 Jan 2010!

Now it's back to work , starting engine for new year of 2010! Also itching for another such long trip... travelling end of year is good- at least everyone is out of office, pace is slow and u dun get a pile of nasty emails when you return to work....
